In June 2025, as part of its global programme and on the occasion of Art Basel, 0x will present a new exhibition featuring contemporary artists at the forefront of media, time-based, and digital practices.

The latest 0x exhibition brings together works from the Collection and select partners to explore how perception, technology, and materiality intersect to shape and disrupt our experience of time.

The exhibition unfolds across a series of temporal inquiries: from corporeal and perceptual time, as explored in works by Gordon, Greenberg, and Sugimoto; to the mechanical rhythms of Paik and Miyajima, whose works meditate on the persistent logic of machines. The pairing of Denes, Mori and Charrière’s speculative ecologies expands the framework into environmental time, layered against the exhibition’s industrial setting. The final rooms, featuring Nicolai’s site-specific installation, dissolves linearity altogether - inviting visitors to experience time as atmospheric, diffuse, and collective.

The 0xCollection is a leading initiative in digital and experiential art, connecting contemporary art history with emerging technologies to reflect the cultural conditions of the present age. Based in Basel, its mission is to expand public access and foster critical dialogue around an evolving canon, shaping the cultural legacy of the contemporary technopocene.

Founded in 2023 by Swiss entrepreneur and philanthropist Karel Komárek, and directed by Elle Anastasiou, 0x functions as a multi-disciplinary platform for exhibition, research, and education—driven by artist-led projects and strengthened through institutional partnerships across academia, technology, and cultural heritage.
